Nursery Activities during 2007

Much of our resources are devoted to staging displays at major garden and flower shows. This includes, amongst other things, growing over 500 Hosta plants to specimen size.

Some wonderful new Hosta varieties have been introduced over recent years and we amongst other Hosta specialists are always striving to raise and introduce new and more garden worthy varieties.

We were particularly pleased that two of our home raised varieties proved popular with the gardening public. Hosta 'Royal Golden Jubilee' and Hosta 'Fran Godfrey' were our third and fourth best selling varieties during 2007.

In 2007 we were delighted and honoured that Alan Titchmarsh agreed to name our latest introduction, exhibited at the 2007 Hampton Court Show
